1. A LITERACY PLAN is being developed for Sunset.
You are invited to participate in one of two community consultations:
Wednesday June 3rd from 6:00pm to 8:30pm at the South Van Neighbourhood House
or Friday June 5th from 9:30am to 12:00pm at the Fraserview Public Library.

Discuss what literacy means to the community and explore the questions: What kind of future do we want for our community? What literacy and learning opportunities will help take us there? Please confirm your attendance at

2. A PUBLIC ART PLAN is being developed for South Hill.
Art Consultant, Barbara Cole, has teamed up with Emily Carr Masters student Holly Schmidt to guide the community in developing vision, goals and objectives for future art projects on Fraser Street. They have prepared a fantastic slide show of creative public art projects that will start you dreaming about the intriguing art-filled neighbourhood centre that Fraser Street could become. Don’t miss this evening of looking, listening and giving feedback. Older children are welcome to come along and give their input.

Monday, June 8th from 7:00 – 9:00pm in the John Oliver Barn, room B208. The Barn is the old school building located at 43rd and St. George.
